Controversy flooded The Block NZ last night as the teams revealed their family bathrooms to the judges.
Last week's losers, twins Ali and Julia, redeemed themselves with an elegant marble bathroom, which the judges called "luxurious".
It wasn't quite enough to beat Palmerston North besties Stace and Yanita, who were half a point ahead of the twins, before the Auckland sisters played their game changer, deducting two points from the winners to claim the week's $5000 prize.
The yoga-loving friends were gutted but soon let it go.
"I'm downhearted" said one. "Don't be downhearted," said the other. And then she wasn't. Talk about the power of Zen.
Meanwhile, Ling and Zing weren't happy after they were called out for their shoddy finishing details.
"We're not the only ones" muttered Ling (or Zing, who can tell?) staring daggers at the twins.
But the biggest upset came from week one winners Andy and Nate, who dropped to last place this week with their polarising black and white bathroom.
The judges hated it - as did most people with eyes.
But Andy just couldn't understand why - dropping a sea of bitter expletives as the pair drove home.
Nice guys finish last but Andy just proved he may not be the nice guy we first thought.
