Australian TV show The Project suffered an unfortunate glitch on Tuesday night during a cross about the Kim Kardashian robbery when a humorous photo of a baby with lush hair flashed onto the screen and froze.
During a live cross to their US correspondent, the panel was discussing the seriousness of the incident that saw Kardashian tied up and held at gunpoint in Paris yesterday.
Midway through the chat, overlay footage accidentally switched to a photo of a baby with hair and remained on screen for several seconds.
Viewers at home may have been confused for a few moments. Earlier in the night, the eight-week-old with an unusually full head of hair was included in the program's news bulletin. And throughout the night, co-host Peter Helliar continually threw to the picture as a running joke.
So when the bub popped up on screen, some viewer's may have been bracing for an ill-timed joke.
But it was all just a computer flub.
After the cross, host Waleed Aly addressed the mistake.
"Obviously there was a little technical issue in the middle of that. We need to point out that was not remotely deliberate," he told viewers.

Helliar joked there was another reason behind the glitch.
"I think my little friend hacked the system," he joked about the bub.
