Donald Trump once gave Charlie Sheen fake diamond cuff links, according to the actor.
The 50-year-old star claimed the Republican presidential nominee gave him an early wedding present when they met at a dinner five years ago, while Charlie was with his then-wife Brooke Mueller.
"I noticed Donald staring at my watch," the actor said during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show on Friday.

"He says, 'I want to give you an early wedding gift as a gesture from me and Melania' - and she doesn't say a word; she's very sweet and very pretty but she just kind of sits there.
"Anyhow, so he says 'These are platinum diamond Harry Winston' and he pulls off his cuff links and he gives them to me."
Delighted with his seemingly expensive gift, Charlie then explained he got a big shock when he had the cuff links valued.
"Smash cut to about six months later, I had some jewellery getting appraised at the house," he recalled.
"She (expert) spent about four seconds, and kind of recoiled from it - much like people do from Trump - and says, 'In their finest moment, this is cheap pewter and bad zirconias.' And they're stamped 'Trump,' and I just thought, 'What does this really say about the man, that he said, 'Here's a great wedding gift,' and it's just a bag of dog s***?"
The actor, who is father to daughters Sam and Lola with ex-wife Denise Richards, and twin sons Bob and Max with ex Brooke, praised his own father, actor Martin Sheen, on the talk show, revealing he supported him unconditionally in the wake of his HIV diagnosis, which he opened up about last year.
"He is my hero," he said proudly.
"He is smart, compassionate and patient enough to know that at some point I'd find my way back home and he and my mom would be waiting for me."
