Mark Salling has pleaded not guilty to pornography charges.
The Glee star was indicted by a federal grand jury on two counts of child pornography last month but appeared in court on Friday to deny the allegations made against him.
US Magistrate Judge Rozella A. Oliver has ruled that Mark - who is best known for playing Puck in the musical television series - can be released on bail if he posts $150,000, which is to include $100,000 of his own money.
During his appearance in court, the 33-year-old actor was given a July date for his trial. The court also ordered Mark to wear a device so he could be located at any time and his passport was surrendered by his lawyer Alan Eisner.
He has also had to have any devices that can connect to the internet approved by the authorities, the New York Post's Page Six column reports.
