The rickety Melbourne cottage made famous by Beyonce has sold for $650,000 at auction.
The ramshackle house on Brunswick's Beith Street went under the hammer on Saturday, after the global superstar filmed a scene for her No Angel video clip on the porch in 2013.
The price guide quoted was $470,000 to $510,000, so it appears that someone fell so crazy in love with the property that they were prepared to pay over the odds.
"Achieving a result of $650,000 goes to show that the Beyonce publicity and all that did work," said Nelson Alexander agent Steven James.
Indeed, fans taken with the home's brush with Queen Bey have proved unstoppable during the past month's sale campaign, tearing down the auction sign to get a photograph of themselves doing their best Beyonce pose right where their idol stood.
Nelson Alexander agent Luke Sacco previously told AAP that the property was "pretty rough" and needed to be "completely renovated".
