Dance music star Deadmau5 is recovering after he was hospitalised to treat thyroid and lymph node problems.
The DJ/producer was admitted to a medical facility last week after telling fans about his health crisis in a post on Instagram, writing, "So my lymph nodes have swollen up to about the size of golf balls. So much for sleeping tonight..."
He also documented his treatment, posting pictures of an intravenous drip attached to his arm, adding, "Yay! steroids!... I guess it's to help the swelling? Maybe I'll get SWOL (muscled)..."
Deadmau5 told fans he later left hospital to play a show before readmitting himself.
"Literally snuck out of hospital, hopped on a jet, played a show for Red Bull, getting back on jet, going back to hospital. Such LOLs (laugh out loud)," he tweeted.
"(It is) nothing serious. Thyroid/ lymph node s**t. Caused by some underlying thing that may or may not exist. All good," he added in a post on Twitter.
Deadmau5 went on to reveal he was later discharged to recover at home, writing, "Back home. Everything is groovy..."
