Splore Festival, which goes from being biannual to annual next year, has announced another handful of artists to add to the bill for its three-day party from February 20 to 22 at Tapapakanga Regional Park.
Trinity Roots, who last performed at the festival in 2004, are back with a new drummer, and fit next year's festival theme of "home" perfectly, well known as they are for their 2004 album Home, Land, and Sea.
They will be debuting songs from their upcoming third studio album, which is due out this summer.
The festival has also announced that Basement Jaxx lead singer Sharlene Hector will perform, in a new collaboration with local DJ and producer Jason Eli, and acclaimed Toronto beatmaker Lunice will also be there.
Local acts announced so far include up-and-coming local producers Race Banyon and Samuel Truth, along with party bands Labretta Suede and the Motel 6, The Hipstamatics and the Wellington Sea Shanty Band.
Splore will have more headline international acts and local acts to announce in October, and you can check out further information on tickets and previously announced acts at splore.net.
