Chali 2na was only just in the country with reunited hip-hop crew Jurassic 5.
But it seems the big voiced rapper can't get enough of New Zealand: he's planning a four-date tour in September.
Chali 2na, who has had the most successful solo career outside of Jurassic 5, will perform at Dux Live in Christchurch on September 17, Union Hall in Dunedin on September 18, Auckland's Powerstation on September 19 and Wellington's James Cabaret on September 20.
He'll be touring with his band House of Vibe. Tickets are on sale now.
Meanwhile, if you remember the hip-hop trend 'crunk' from the mid-2000s then you'll no doubt have fond memories of genre leader Lil Jon.
The Atlanta rapper, famous for grimy southern hip-hop hits Get Low and Get Crunk, and for his appearance on Usher's 2004 single Yeah!, is performing at Auckland's Powerstation on October 16.
He's been quiet over the past few years but had a resurgence recently thanks to his appearance on DJ Snake's chart-topper Turn Down For What, a song that has 91 million views on YouTube.
Tickets for the show go on sale from August 7 through Event Ticketing. A pre-sale begins on August 6 through Much More Music.
