'Little Monsters' from Christchurch whose flights to Lady Gaga's Auckland show were cancelled yesterday because of the weather have managed to secure much sought after flights.
Kerrie Clarke-Higgins and her friend Hannah Cook had originally booked flights to Auckland yesterday afternoon but the departures were cancelled due to the snow in Christchurch.
Ms Clarke-Higgins said they arrived at the airport at 6am today hoping to secure a seat on the stand-by list.
"We've had a bit of luck," she said, securing a seat for her and her friend on the first available flight.
The show starts at 7.30pm, and the girls' chances of arriving on time is uncertain but they are staying positive.
"I'm hoping we'll make it ... so fingers crossed there."
"It's such a relief," she said, "there's so many people on standby, it's crazy."
There was at least "a plane-full" of people waiting in the airport trying to get flights to Auckland she said.
"We just got here early enough to put out names on the [stand-by] list."

A representitive from Ticketmaster said there were over 100 tickets for tonight and tomorrow's night shows but tickets for Sunday were limited.
