Cosying up to two women in bed is something 27-year-old Hollie Smith appeared to have no problem with as she giggled and nuzzled C4 hottie Shannon Ryan, 22, and Anika Moa, 30, during Spy's intimate photoshoot in a Langham Hotel bed this week.

Smith and Moa will battle it out next month at the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards for Best Female Artist and our piccie was taken to promote the upcoming event.

The girls have five coveted nominations between them. Ryan will co-host the show alongside comedian Ben Hurley.

The awards will be broadcast on C4 with live coverage from the red carpet.

Moa will be dressed by her favourite label Salasai, while Hollie is contemplating something more attention-seeking. "I might wear something really fruity, like Lady Gaga's meat dress." Moa chortled: "You should try pork bones."

The singer-songwriter, who hails from Christchurch, said her mum's house near Darfield was not seriously affected by the quake, but all her TV sets have cracked. "Mum said it was the worst day of her life," Moa laughed. "She wants to move to Auckland now with my sister."
