Check out the new trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road, set for release in 2015.
It appears Mad Max isn't the only one who's a bit insane in the new teaser for Fury Road.
As a voiceover explains, "everybody's gone out of their mind".
It certainly appears that way, with Mad Max: Fury Road appearing to be a loud, proud, visual extravaganza, if this newtrailer is anything to go by.
Directed by the original Mad Max creator George Miller, there's explosions, car crashes, stretching deserts, Charlize Theron with a shaved head, Nicholas Hoult driving like a maniac - all played out to spurts of classical music.
Amid all this carnage, it's hard to believe this is the same guy who directed Happy Feet, an animated movie about singing and dancing penguins.
In Mad Max: Fury Road, Tom Hardy takes the reins from Mel Gibson as Max in the apocalyptic tale. It's set in a world where, as newreaders explain, "everything is dependent on oil. We are killing for gasoline".
From there, as the world's water supplies dwindle, come the water wars.
Kiwis will have to wait until May 14 to see what Miller really has in store for us.
