Two new judges have been announced for TV3's The Block: Villa Wars.
As previously reported by Spy, interior designer Jason Bonham will judge the teams' work as the renovate four old villas to their former glory. He will be joined by real estate agent Bernadette Morrison.
The newjudges will join hosts Mark Richardson and Shelley Ferguson when the competition starts later this year.
Recognised as a top performing salesperson during her 11 years in real estate, Morrison said she's looking forward to taking on a judging role.
"This year I am privileged to see the results of the hard work week by week and then judge these results," she said. "I'm hoping that my feedback throughout the series will help the teams to achieve the best price possible for their house on auction day."
Bonham, the founder and director of New Zealand based interior architecture practice Bonham Interior, said he was ready to see teams do new things with the Kiwi style.
"Kiwi / Pacific style has been a shabby chic, deconstructed, kitsch or industrial look for some time now, and personally I'm ready to see something new, innovative, exciting and unexpected," he said.
Competing teams on The Block: Villa Wars have yet to be announced.
