More than 10,000 fans welcomed Neil Diamond back to New Zealand when the crooner hit the stage in Auckland last night.
Diamond is playing three shows here this week, including a stadium show in Dunedin.
But Auckland was up first, with 10,500 fans turning out to welcome the 74-year-old American singer with open arms.
Opening with I'm a Believer, Diamond then worked through many hits from throughout his career, including Solitary Man, Sweet Caroline, Song Sung Blue, Soolaimon and ending the night with Heartlight.
