Nanny at centre of Mel B divorce from Stephen Belafonte

This is the woman embroiled in one of the messiest celebrity divorces this year.

Lorraine Gilles, 25, was the nanny to Mel B and her husband Stephen Belafonte.

Photos posted on the celebrity couple's social media pages show the young blonde was an integral part of the Spice Girl's life.

She is pictured on board private jets, on holiday and in happy family snaps.

In one photo she posted on Instagram Mel B plants a kiss on the nanny to wish her a happy birthday with the caption "Happy birthday my lovely".

But allegations made by Mel B on Monday, which led to a judge granting a restraining order against her ex as part of their bitter divorce, paint a shocking new picture.

In court documents, Mel claims that Belafonte was physically abusive towards her since 2007.

She also alleges he impregnated the nanny, at first telling her that all three would raise the child together.

He later paid for the nanny to have an abortion, she alleges.

"I later discovered that respondent was having sex with Lorraine and was paying her inordinate amounts of money," she alleges.

"(He) told me he wanted to have the baby and all three of us live together. I was shocked and in disbelief."

Mel claims Belafonte allegedly paid $300,000 (£241,000) of her money "for alleged nanny services", to undergo an abortion.

TMZ spoke to Belafonte on Monday afternoon as he was leaving their Hollywood house after the judge ordered him to leave.

He denied the allegations and said he was shocked by them.
