My Big Week: Will Hall

Friday night drinks? Meet me at: I don't drink, however I'll probably be dragged kicking and screaming to The Longroom by my boisterous mates Ben Barrington and Monish Anand.

Where I'll be wearing my new: MisteR 3-piece suit. It's blue and black checks, looks like a formal Swanndri, very cool. Thanks Micky Lin and Ra Thompson, the best tailors in NZ.

And this weekend I'm planning on: Relaxing by the fire with a good book. It's actually my birthday so I might even read two books.

But first I'll need to refuel at my favourite cafe: Landreth & Co. Best coffee in town plus lots of familiar faces.

Saturday evening. If my dreams came true there would be a gig by: Kings of Leon. Who else? An outdoor concert at Mudhouse Winery in Waipara Valley.

But if there's nothing else doing I'll probably just: Head to Stu Thomson's Maimai and shoot some ducks.

On my stereo/headphones right now is: Foster the People, The Aristocrats and Kid Rock (he's my guilty pleasure) he excites me but I'm not sure why.

The books I can't put down are: Lucky Man by Michael J. Fox, Two Little Boys by Duncan Sarkies, Gates of Eden by Ethan Coen

The TV show I take the phone off the hook for: Entourage. Ari Gold and Johnny Drama - it can't get any better... well maybe if Hank Moody made a guest appearance in a crossover episode with Californication.

The movie I've been dying to see: Netherwood. Not so much seeing it but I'm dying to see people's reaction to it. It's the first time I've been involved in producing a film.

A non-cooking Monday night means takeaways from: Nina's Takeaways on Ponsonby Rd. One fish, one hot dog, one scoop and a four-pack of Moa St Joseph's Ale to wash them down with. At 9.5 per cent this beer is the perfect way to start a healthy week.

Or a splash-out Wednesday night restaurant would be: Ebisu, the Japanese Restaurant in Britomart for some soft-shell crab with orange ponzu and wasabi tartare. Plus the bar manager (he has a rat's tail!) is one of Auckland's finest cocktail makers. You can watch his theatrics from the all-leather seated booths.
