Friday night drinks? Meet me at: Well, I'm new to Auckland and haven't had much time to have Friday night drinks but Chapel is pretty good on a Friday afternoon in the sun, so I'm sure it's pretty similar a few hours later.
Where I'll be wearing my new: High-topPuma kicks or my Palladium boots.
And this weekend I'm planning on: Rehearsing for Gagarin Way Saturday afternoon, then enjoying the sun with a few friends for the rest of it.
But first I'll need to refuel at my favourite cafe: Queenies Lunchroom in Freemans Bay.
Saturday evening. If my dreams came true there would be a gig by: The Beatles' - their first gig at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, or the full line-up of the original We are the World song, Michael Jackson included.
But if there's nothing else doing I'll probably just: Go to the movies or hire something and have a quiet night in.
On my stereo/headphones right now is: Crazy? Yes. Dumb? No! by the Mint Chicks.
The books I can't put down are: Michael Caine's first bio, What's It All About?, and a book about football, radicalism and riots in Scotland (as research for Gagarin Way).
The TV show I take the phone off the hook for: Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution or, uh, The X Factor.
The movie I've been dying to see: Four Lions. A comedy about some not-so-good-at-it jihadi terrorists living in England.
A non-cooking Monday night means takeaways from: Japa Deli on Anzac Ave.
Or a splash-out Wednesday night restaurant would be: Japa Deli ... I'm addicted to the place.
