Mel Gibson is alleged to have given his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva two black eyes.
The 54-year-old actor - who was in a relationship with Oksana for around a year before they broke up in April - is accused of being violent towards the Russian singer during an incident in January
this year, and a source close to the situation claims pictures will reveal the extent of her injuries.
The insider revealed to RadarOnline.com: "You can see Oksana's two main front teeth were broken and there are bruises all over her face.
"They will come out eventually and she is prepared to use them in their court case."
In June, Oksana filed for a restraining order against the Braveheart actor, claiming he had been "extremely violent" towards her - something his friend's have denied.
The source added: "Oksana was scared to death to go to the cops. Any battered woman is... most women never speak out and suffer for years."
Last week, it was claimed Mel - who has an eight-month-old daughter, Lucia, with the Russian beauty - subjected her to a tirade of racist abuse, accusing her of being a "f***ing fake" and a "****".
In a taped rant, it is claimed Mel says: "You're an embarrassment to me. You look like a f***ing pig in heat, and if you get raped by a pack of n***ers, it will be your fault."
In a separate recorded incident he can allegedly be heard saying: "How dare you act like such a b***h to me when I have been so f***ing nice. I am going to come and burn the f***ing house down... but you will blow me first."
Mel is believed to be trying to get the release of the tapes blocked.
