Seven Sharp and Newstalk ZB host Mike Hosking, connoisseur of the fine things in life, has been spotted cruising into TVNZ's staff carpark in his hot new wheels - a 2012 California Convertible Ferrari.
The white two-door Italian grand touring sports car takes off under the grunt of a 4.3litre V8 engine, and the model sold at its 2012 release for $452,000. Staff at New Zealand's sole Ferrari dealer, Continental Cars, wouldn't reveal the retail price, but indications are it carries a cool quarter-million-dollar price tag.
Hosking and gorgeous wife, Kate Hawkesby, starred in a women's mag this week and revealed their romantic secrets - but it's not clear where she and their five kids will fit in his new two-door beauty. As for his former love, it's not known if the broadcaster has held on to his prized Maserati.
