But the prize went to Patrika Darbo for her work in Acting Dead, a dark comedy about Hollywood zombies.
Also nominated alongside Ang were actresses Erinn Hayes (Childrens Hospital), Janet Varney (Everyone's Crazy But Us) and Tracie Thoms (Send Me).
But Ang has still had a great time - the actress presented at the Creative Arts Emmys and tweeted about how happy she was to be rubbing shoulders with her heroes.
