Melissa George's long-term partner Jean-David Blanc has faced a French court over claims he assaulted the Australian actress at their Paris apartment, according to reports.
George, 40, was pictured looking sombre as she left the Paris courthouse on Thursday.
Blanc, the 48-year-old father of her two sons, left separately.
TheFrench businessman has denied allegations he physically abused the Grey's Anatomy actress, leaving her face swollen and bruised, last month.
French newspaper Le Parisien reports the domestic assault case has been remanded until February next year.
On September 7, George checked into the Cochin Hospital in central Paris, hours after she made a desperate 3am visit to her local police station to report she had been attacked by her AlloCine founder beau.
According to local reports, the Alias star had been seen on the street in a dizzy and shocked state after an incident at the family's apartment in the up-market 8th District of Paris.
She rang police before attending a nearby station where she formally reported feeling nauseous, faint and in pain following the alleged domestic assault.
Blanc was reportedly questioned at length by police following the alleged assault. He was reportedly cleared of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the alleged incident.
French media reported there have been no prior reports of domestic violence issues with the pair.
Blanc and George met at a British film awards after-party in 2011 and began dating in 2012. They have two children together, Solal and Raphael.
George was previously married to Chilean film director Claudio Dabed.
