Hugh Jackman sports a mullet and seems intent on turning humanoid robot Chappie into trash in the first teaser for Neill Blomkamp's new sci-fi flick.
The writer/director behind thought-provoking movies District 9 and Elysium is now tackling the humanity that lies in Artificial Intelligence with his film Chappie.
In the teaser, actor Sharlto Copley, who regularly works with Blomkamp, stars as the titular robot Chappie using motion capture technology.

He's abducted by criminals and adopted into a dysfunctional family.
Created by a young scientist (played by Dev Patel), it's explained that Chappie is "a machine that can think and feel", who's like a child that has to learn.
Patel's character tells Chappie that the world is his oyster, because he can write poetry, have original ideas and "could be the next step in evolution."
But humans might not be ready for Chappie and Jackman's character in particular wants the robot gone.
"The problem with Artificial Intelligence is its way too unpredictable," Jackman says in the teaser.
"This robot has got to be removed."
