The festival combines bands and barbeques, as well an event called the "Barbeque, Butcher and Barber Wars". Butchery demonstrations and workshops with also be available.
Barbeque-inspired food trucks will cater, craft beer will be available, and live Blues and Country music will entertain.
"Punters can enjoy their favourite cuts of meat along with a side serving of great music. There'll be plenty to digest," says founder Jay Beaumont.
Meatstock's 2017 run kicks off in Auckland, before heading to Melbourne in April and Sydney in May.
Tickets cost $35 for a one-day pass, or $55 for a two-day super pass.
