Meat Loaf postpones Tauranga concert set for tonight

Meat Loaf's Tauranga show has been postponed at the last minute because he's sick.

"Meat Loaf wishes to extend his most sincere apologies to his Bay Of Plenty fans," The Frontier Touring Company said in a statement.

The American rocker was scheduled to play Baypark's TECT Arena tonight.

Meat Loaf is also scheduled to play a concert at Auckland's Vector Arena Saturday night, but there has been no word of that show's fate.

The statement said the Tauranga concert has been postponed until Tuesday, November 1.

All tickets remain valid for the rescheduled date.

For those who cannot attend the new concert, tickets will be fully refunded from their point of purchase.
