A Married at First Sight bride has announced she is expecting a baby with her ex-partner following speculation she had reconnected with him during the experiment.
After weeks of rumours, Brook Crompton confirmed her pregnancy to Woman’s Day yesterday, revealing she and her ex-partner Harry had rekindled their relationship twoweeks after she left the popular reality show early.
Due in mid-year next year, the pair got engaged on Christmas Day shortly after they discovered they would be welcoming a child together.
The model married controversial groom Chris Nield on the experiment, a relationship that quickly soured when she was shown audition tapes where he disparaged fat people.
Despite the backlash, Crompton said she didn’t regret her time on the show because it had led her back to her former partner, who came “crawling back” after he broke up with her.

“So right from the get-go, I was like, ‘This person is not for me.’ It was very much like, I’ve been paired with this person for TV ratings.”
She said she had discovered she was pregnant after a dream that prompted her to take a test.
The couple got engaged just over a month later while on a Christmas holiday in Aspen.
“This is everything I’ve ever wanted to be with a partner who supports me and loves me.”
A source close to the production told New Idea her on-screen husband Nield was “totally blown away” by the-27-year-old’s big news.
“The cast heard whispers quite a while ago that Brook had fallen pregnant after filming ended, but it was fully confirmed to them a few weeks ago.
“Chris 100% had feelings for Brook. He was really into her, so he was more shocked than anyone.”
Other cast members claimed Crompton had repeatedly flown back to the Gold Coast during filming, raising suspicions she was reconnecting with her ex, according to the Daily Mail.
She and Harry broke up in April last year, while filming for the show began a mere three months later - though Crompton claims they didn’t speak during production.
The mother-to-be was unfazed about all the commentary around her relationship status, remarking that she and her now fiancée “don’t have time for the drama, we have bigger fish to fry”.
