MAFS relationship expert, John Aiken reveals what goes on behind the scenes in making a good couple.

This MAFS wife’s frenemy just exposed her secret behind-the-scenes revelations that show a different side. James Weir recaps.

A Married At First Sight wife gets busted on Sunday night when her secret off-camera conversations with a vengeful Playboy Bunny are revealed, leaving her more exposed than a … than a… well, more exposed than a Playboy Bunny.

It’s the morning after the drunken dinner party where Bec imploded. We find her in her Trash Tower suite, insisting everything’s fine.

“My whole purpose of that dinner party was to clear my husband’s name and I did that,” she declares, ignoring the carnage left in her wake.

Bec loves gushing the words “my husband”. She says it constantly, the way people say “my Frank Green bottle”.

Speaking of her husband, where is Danny? He’s emotionally paralysed and can’t even address his wife after witnessing her poor behaviour last night.

Bec takes his silence as a show of support.

“We’re stronger than ever,” she adds.

Bec tries to convince herself and us that everything has played out perfectly.

Um, okay.

Clearly the experts need to shame her in the public square of Trash Tower.

Expert John Aiken asks her point blank: Girl, why you so obsessed with trash-talking everyone?

“Uh, ah …” she stumbles, trying desperately to blame the others before relenting. “You know, you’re right-”

“I know I’m right,” John interrupts. “But what I don’t know is why you’re doing that.”

Literally biting his tongue.
Literally biting his tongue.

Is she … jealous?

“No, not at all. I’m … happy,” she insists.

This claim hangs awkwardly … like Julia’s beret.

Still, Bec doubles down.

“We’re stronger than ever,” she says.

Danny’s face says otherwise.

John demands answers for why Bec obsessively gossips about the other couples.

“Is that you? Is that your personality?” he probes, hoping to break her.

“No,” she whimpers, her voice cracking.

And then, he proposes a reason for her behaviour.

“If you set off enough grenades in other people’s relationships, you can avoid having tough conversations about the two of you – and, clearly, you’re not good together right now,” he says.

The observation is more obvious than … than … well, it’s more obvious than Julia’s beret.

Stronger than ever!
Stronger than ever!

“I’m really angry!” Bec sobs.

We think she’s about to say she’s angry at herself. But no. That would require too much self-awareness and personal insight.

“I’m angry at Gia!”

Suddenly, we’re plunged back into the tedious he-said-she-said argument about Gia’s claims that Danny said he’s more attracted to her than Bec.

“It’s not true,” Danny declares.

“Then why did you say it?” Gia, the vengeful former Playboy Bunny, snaps.

“I didn’t!” he says.

Bec sides with “my husband”, of course. “I believe Danny!”

Gia rolls her eyes.

“This is infuriating because this is the biggest issue with Bec and my friendship-fakeship. She always wants to talk to me off-camera – and, off-camera, she tells me, ‘Babe, I believe you … I’ve gotta leave’.”

But Bec refuses to be exposed by Gia. “I never said that.”

Gia sighs. “Why does she f*****’ lie?”

This Playboy Bunny is on a mission to snap Bec in half like a carrot.
This Playboy Bunny is on a mission to snap Bec in half like a carrot.

The more important question: why does the TV crew that’s meant to be filming these freaks 24/7 never seem to be able to capture any of these secret conversations?

Producers need to be permanently attached to these contestants like … like … like that beret on Julia’s head.
