After researching surgery for a year Sarah made the decision to get a Brazilian butt lift, undergoing the procedure at Cosmos Clinic in Melbourne.
A Brazilian butt lift, also known as a BBL, is when unwanted fat is taken from other parts of the body and injected into the bottom.
It's one of the most popular cosmetic procedures in the world, with the amount of butt lifts performed increasing by 77.6 per cent since 2015, according to the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Sarah had liposuction on her arms, back, flank, waist and stomach, which was injected into her butt for a more "perky" appearance.
The procedure came with six weeks of recovery that was "uncomfortable but never painful" but meant Sarah wasn't able to sit, drive or lay on her back as it would put pressure on the healing area.
After the recovery period Sarah was able to remove the medical compression garments she had to wear while healing to reveal a "dramatic change in my body shape".
"This definitely isn't a solution for weight loss (as I actually only lost about 5 kgs) but rather it's permanent body sculpting at its finest and I'm so glad I did it!" she said.
Sarah's candid post was praised by her followers on Instagram, with former MAFS co-star Tracey Jewel saying she was "so proud of you".
"You deserve this happiness! And you look absolutely amazing (you also did before too)," one person commented.
"What a transformation," another wrote. "As long as you feel incredible that is stunning and you should feel it."
Sarah isn't the only former MAFS star to undergo the procedure. In July, Cathy Evans – who appeared on the 2020 season – also got a BBL.
