A commentator called #tmialex wrote: "There goes the last remaining shred of my childhood."
Others argued that the point of the picture was to show that Snow White "doesn't need a man to save her", with one user praising Madonna for "not being ruled by close-minded people and the taboos that control their lives".
Saint Hoax has also depicted Madonna kissing Jasmine from Aladdin and Ariel from The Little Mermaid, but the pop icon only chose to share Snow White.
Perhaps Madonna is simply looking for the fastest way possible to detract attention from her epic tumble backwards down the stairs during her Brit Awards performance last month?
