The Material Girl rolled into Auckland last night with her Rebel Heart Tour - with a sell-out Vector Arena crowd on hand to witness one of pop music's top names performing her biggest hits.
And although Madonna kept a low profile in the lead up to the show, several ofher entourage made the most of a perfect Auckland day.
Dancer Aishi Matsu enjoyed her commute into work yesterday, posting a photograph to her Instagram account showing her lounging on a boat in the Hauraki Gulf. "On my way to work.. #newzealand #waiheke to #auckland #rebelhearttour" she posted.
Fans gathered around the Vector Arena several hours before the show, with many hoping to catch a brief glimpse of the chart-topper.
Their anticipation levels peaked during the lead-up to the show after Madonna's DJ shared a clip of her sound check.
Madonna's makeup artist Aaron Smith Henrikson posted another photograph of the Lord of the Rings inspired costume he wore to Hobbiton earlier this week, along with the caption: "Time to come out of my Hobbit hole and go to do another show! Are you ready Auckland?"
Madonna was nowhere to be seen yesterday after her visit to Motueka on Friday.
During her whirlwind trip to the South Island she visited Motueka's Celsius Cafe where, flanked by burly security guards, she drank a soy flat white.
