As if it wasn't enough to live in the same house as a superstar, Lorde's mum, Sonja Yelich, is threatening to take it one step further and dress the family beds in a range of duvets bearing the Grammy winner's likeness.
In a teasing post on social media Yelich gave her four children - including chart-topping Ella - and their dad a heads-up on what would fill their Christmas stockings.
For the mother who has to buy for teenage children - three of whom celebrated their birthday last month - it seemed her gift dilemma had been solved at the click of a mouse.
"Guess what y'all getting for Christmas!!" she posted on Instagram, with a photograph of a larger-than-life Royals singer covering a queen duvet, pictured above.
"JOKINGGG," she added.
Eldest daughter Jerry was not impressed. "Oh my God. No," she posted.
Unlike Lorde's sister, many fans were keen to get their hands on the bedding created by American artist Alfonso Aranda.
The lightweight microfibre queen duvet cover sells for US$99 ($127) on the society6 website.
The image of the Devonport songstress is also printed on a range of merchandise, including shower curtains, phone covers, clothing, stationery and tote bags.
Official Lorde merchandise is only available from the singer's website.
Lorde's management did not respond to an approach from the Herald on Sunday for comment on the unofficial range of products being sold.
