Pop stars Taylor Swift, Lorde and Ellie Goulding enjoyed a girls' night out with actress Sarah Hyland.

The girls hit Los Angeles on Saturday night to celebrate the Modern Family star's 24th birthday.

Swift shared Instagram snaps of the friends at home, driving in a car and taking selfies at the nightspot The Hollywood Palladium on Sunday, on the eve of Hyland's actual date of birth.
