The Kiwi pop sensation beat hits by Imagine Dragons, Robin Thicke and Daft Punk to the top spot.
She was also named 'most viral new artist' on Spotify's global charts, and her The Love ClubEP was the second most streamed album in NZ, behind Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' The Heist.
But Lorde didn't make it into the top 10 global songs list, which was topped by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' Can't Hold Us. Royals sits at No. 24.
