The first of the new Lego movies is Lego Batman, which will be released in North America on February 10, 2017.
It will focus on the character - a rather humorous look at Batman - voiced by Will Arnett in the original Lego Movie.
Will is expected to perform Batman in the spinoff, although no official casting has been announced.
Lego Ninjago will follow on September 22, 2017, introducing a major ninja story to the franchise.
Although this spinoff will use the same basic story as the already existing Lego Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitzu TV series, a new take has been promised that will diverge from the television show.
Finally, the direct sequel to The Lego Movie will be released on May 18, 2018.
The first Lego Movie was a surprise hit for Warner Bros., earning more than $250 million in the United States, plus another $211 million worldwide.
Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman, and more top actors provided voices for the animated film.
Additionally, the movie's catchy song, Everything Is Awesome, was nominated for Best Original Song at the 2015 Academy Awards.
