Former NBA star Lamar Odom has promised Khloe Kardashian he'll never visit a brothel again.

Lamar Odom has promised his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian he'll never visit a brothel again after his drug-related collapse at a Nevada bordello.

The basketball player has spent the past three months in hospitals and medical centres after he was found unconscious following an overdose at the Bunny Love Ranch.

Kardashian put a hold on the couple's divorce and rushed to Nevada to be by Odom's side as he recovered.

She spent much of the Christmas holiday supporting her husband, who had been transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles.

Kardashian said she has made Odom promise to never set foot in another brothel.

"I've said, 'You do whatever the f*** you want to do, but please promise me you'll never go back to a disgusting brothel again'," she told US shock jock Howard Stern Stern on his satellite radio show on Wednesday.

"If you want to pay someone, you can pay someone in the privacy of your hotel."

She reiterated her forthright message while promoting her new TV show Kocktails With Khloe on Good Morning America.

"He said he obviously wasn't thinking and he promised he wouldn't go back to a place like that," she told GMA host Lara Spencer.

Kardashian also told Stern that Odom took herbal Viagra at the brothel, because, "I think when you are doing so many things [drugs], you're limp down there".
