Kiwi short film to screen at Sundance

A New Zealand short film has been accepted for the 25th Sundance Film Festival in Utah next month.

This Is Her, directed by Katie Wolfe, was described by the New Zealand Film Commission as "a 12-minute black tale, about the bitter aftertaste of love".

The film has already screened at the New York and Telluride Film Festivals but Wolfe said Sundance was the one they had been coveting.

"It's such an honour. It's the festival we've all had our fingers crossed for."
