She couldn't make it to Monday's Laneway Festival, but Kiwi singer Kimbra got to America in time for a performance on the Jimmy Kimmel show.
Kimbra, wearing a short ruffled black dress and ankle boots, joined Gotye on Kimmel's chat show to guest on the pair's hit single Somebody That
I Used to Know.
The song has been a huge smash, hitting No. 1 in Australia and New Zealand. It is also doing well in America, with celebrities including Ashton Kutcher tweeting their praise.
Gotye headlined Monday's Laneway Festival, and many expected Kimbra to make a similiar guest appearance on that song, but she was busy at the Melbourne leg of the Big Day Out.
The pair are performing several dates in the US, including a show on Monday at the The Bowery Ballroom in New York.
