Kim Kardashian West and her husband Kanye West don't want to give their newborn son Saint West a middle name.
The couple were thought to have slipped Robert, in memory of Kim's late father, into the baby's moniker but it seems they never intended for the little one to haveanother given name.
A family source told E! News: "The little boy actually doesn't have a middle name."
Kim and Kanye's decision to give the four-day-old tot just a forename and surname won't come as a surprise to fans as they also adopted this approach when they named their two-year-old daughter North shortly after her birth in 2013.
Meanwhile, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 35, announced she and Kanye, 38, had named their newborn earlier this week when she tweeted, "SAINT WEST (sic)."
Although the unique moniker sparked outrage across social media, it's thought the genetically blessed couple, who got married in 2014, chose the name for their new bundle of joy because he is a "blessing" after a "difficult pregnancy."
The reality TV star was forced to deliver her son almost three weeks before her due date on Christmas Day after she reportedly suffered from placenta accreta, where the placenta remains attached to the womb.
