"I never say my whereabouts. And if I do, I make sure there is tons of security outside. I will do something, save it, and then post it when I leave," she explained.
"I think I really attribute that experience that I had in Paris to helping me shut down and completely not worry about the digital world and live in the moment and at home and with my kids and my family and my husband."
In October 2016, Kim was robbed at gunpoint of $14 million worth of jewellery, including a ring worth $6 million, by five intruders dressed as police while staying in an exclusive hotel during Paris Fashion Week.
During an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim revealed she had feared being shot if she tried to escape during the incident.
"They ask for money. I said 'I don't have any money'," she said. "They dragged me out on to the hallway on top of the stairs.
"That's when I saw the gun clear, like clear as day. I was kind of looking at the gun, looking down back at the stairs."
