Kevin Smith has made major changes in his life after suffering a massive heart attack last month.
The 47-year-old director took to Twitter to reveal that he has lost 26 pounds in just four weeks, The Daily Mail reports.
Along with the revelation, he shared a selfie of his slimmed down face with his signature backwards cap and eyes wide open pose.
He wrote: "Down 26 pounds today! Started March 8th and now 4 weeks later, I've lost a small child worth of weight!"
"Doc told me to lose 50 pounds and I'm now over halfway to that goal!"
The Clerks director and writer definitely seems to be in a much better place and even admitted to being grateful that his health scare has motivated him to make such big changes in his life.
He wrote: "Ironically, this heart attack was the best thing that ever happened to my health!"
This comes just days after he treated himself to the Happiest Place on Earth on Monday with his wife Jennifer Schwalbach Smith, 46, and 18-year-old daughter Harley Quinn Smith.
Kevin took to Instagram on Tuesday and posted a photo of him and his family in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle at Disneyland in Anaheim,California.
Smith suffered a massive heart attack on February 25 after performing a stand up routine at a comedy show in Glendale, California.
The heart attack was caused by a complete blockage of his left anterior descending artery and required emergency surgery.
Since surviving the heart attack Smith switched to a plant-based diet.
He revealed last week on social media that he's lost significant weight in short time.
Smith said that Harley was delighted by his diet change since she's a vegan. His wife Jennifer also has been a vegetarian for most of her life.
