A jilted Rotorua woman whose offer of a ticket and pre-drinks to the Eagles Concert drew 42,000 hits on the Trade Me auction website, has sold it to a Hamilton man for $300.
The woman, calling herself"Kazza", had bought two tickets for her partner's birthday for Saturday's concert in Auckland but he left her for another leaving her with a broken heart and a spare ticket.
Then her auction attempt was spoiled by an internet "troll" when bidding reached $1050.
But yesterday she told the Herald she sent a fixed price offer to bidder "Muzzaman2" for the price of the ticket only, that is $300.
"I sent the offer to him as not only was he the [auction] crowd favourite but he sounded to me like a person who would love the concert no matter who he was seated by."
