Katie Holmes is set to make her Broadway debut later this year.
The 29-year-old actress is reportedly in final negotiations to star in a New York revival of Arthur Miller's post-World War II play All My Sons alongside stage veterans John Lithgow and Dianne Wiest.
Britain's Daily Mailcolumnist Baz Bamigboye revealed: "The actress has committed to taking part in a private workshop of the play in May. She will play the part of a woman who visits her former neighbours, the family of a missing pilot she once loved."
Katie, who last tread the boards in high school, has assured the play's British-born director Simon McBurney and producer Eric Falkenstein that she is serious about working in the theatre.

Kate - who married the Top Gun actor in November 2006 - received critical acclaim for her performances in Batman Begins and Thank You For Smoking, but decided to take a break from acting after giving birth to the couple's first child Suri in April 2006.
