Kim Kardashian's former publicist has finally revealed what everyone else was thinking - that her marriage to Kris Humphries was a sham.
Jonathan Jaxson - who worked for Kardashian between 2007 and 2009 - told a Los Angeles radio station that her marriage NBA star Humphries a publicity stunt.
"Two weeks prior to her wedding she knew it was not something she wanted to do," said Jaxson.
However, Jaxson said the couple were obligated to honour contracts with the E! network, which owned the television rights to the wedding, "otherwise they would have owed a lot of people a lot of money".
Jaxson claimed he often helped Kardashian stage publicity stunts.
"I staged several of the moments that the world has seen of her, such as a ring that we alleged was from [Kardashian's ex, NFL star] Reggie Bush."
Jaxson claims he helped generate a fake engagement story between Kardashian and Bush in 2007 by setting up paparazzi to take pictures of her leaving a Beverly Hills jewellery store.
She then sported a ring on her wedding finger in public - which Jaxson said is identical to the one Humphries then proposed to Kardashian with.
Although Kardashian is yet to respond to Jaxson's claims, she has previously denied the wedding was a set-up.
"Anyone that would get married for a TV show, it's just, you know, ridiculous," she said.
"It's just sad that I even have to defend that."
