Kanye West has appeared to try and make amends with Taylor Swift, with a tweet which seems to ask for the end of a feud which has lasted since the 2009 MTV Music Video Awards.
He tweeted a photograph of someone in a shirt emblazoned with a picture which meldstogether his album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy with Ms Swift's 1989.
Mr West captioned the photo "unity love".
The artist hinted a reunion may be on the cards at this year's VMAs, saying he "loves all", and that is why he rang her about the lyric which so offended her in his song Famous.
On the night, he referenced Ms Swift in a meandering speech, which was at times insightful and at times just bizarre.
West said, after explaining his music video for the song Famous, "Not a lot of people's wives let them say that. We all in the same boat, now we all in the same bed. Well, maybe different boats.
"Well, if we think about last week, and it was 22 people murdered in Chicago ... People say, 'Oh, but you have that beef with Taylor', but I love all y'all - that's why I called her. So I was speaking at the audience too last year and one kid came up here and one kid said three of my kids got killed."
The two had bad blood after Kim Kardashian released a video of Swift seemingly agreeing to his lyrics in Famous - after she claimed he had never asked her permission for the lines about her.
The video shows West on the phone to Taylor discussing the lyrics to his song Famous.
In the video West raps the line: "To all my southside n****s that know me best, I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex."
"I think this is a really cool thing to have," West says.
"I know, it's like a compliment, kind of," Swift replies. "Yeah, I mean, what's dope about the line is it's very tongue in cheek either way. And I really appreciate you telling me about it, that's really nice."
"I just had a responsibility to you as a friend," Kanye admits. "Thanks for being so cool about it."
Swift appears to give her approval by replying "I mean go with whatever line you think is better. It's obviously very tongue in cheek either way."
Some accused Swift of lying and "playing the victim" after the video was released - however, she claimed she never gave the rapper permission to call her a b****. The full lyric includes the line "I made that b**** famous".
The two have a fraught history, sometimes seeming like friends, but their fragile relationship never stays friendly for long.
It all began at the 2009 VMAs, when West interrupted Swift as she accepted the award for Best Female Video.
Mr West snatched the microphone from her hands and said the award should have gone to his friend Beyonce instead.
It is unclear whether the tweet will repair their relationship. Wift has not, as of yet, responded - but she has been busy on jury duty, so perhaps she has not had time.
