Justin Bieber wanted Taylor Swift to be his first victim on Punk'd so he could make her cry.

The Boyfriend hitmaker plays a huge prank on the Safe and Sound singer in the new version of the MTV show which airs tomorrow and Justin admitted she was the perfect target because she is sensitive.

Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he said: "I am the first in a series of rotating celebrity hosts and I pranked Taylor.

"I wanted to think of something that would really make her cry and she's so sensitive and I knew that if she thought she ruined a wedding she'd be devastated.

"Basically she thinks she's putting off fireworks that I got her in Japan and they blew up this boat that had a wedding on it and she was flipping out. The bride was swimming into shore and it was crazy."

Justin loved working with executive producer and original Punk'd presenter Ashton Kutcher, calling him the "master".

He said: "For this Punk'd thing that we're doing, he's the master. I've always been a prankster and I love the show so it's great to get to do it."

Ashton was happy to pass the baton to Justin after the pair compared practical joke stories.

He explained: "Three years ago I was on twitter and I kept seeing Justin's name showing up all the time, trending and I was like who's this kid and I realised this kid is really good. My producing partner met with Justin when he first came to LA and I said if you think he can do it and he's interested, get him.

"We sat down and he told me about some of the pranks he had pulled on his crew and I was like great let's do this."
