The new Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle trailer has been released and one thing is clear: Those looking for a nostalgia trip back to the original film should look away now.
The new film - which Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson has insisted is not a reboot, but rathera "continuation" of the 1995 original - finds four high schoolers sucked into a video game called Jumanji.
The four teens are stuck in the game as the avatars they chose, soon discovering they have special abilities and suddenly, Nick Jonas shows up and there's a lot of running and jumping.

The trailer is packed with what we've come to expect from blockbusters in 2017; a whole lot of CGI, cringe-worthy one-liners and a nostalgic soundtrack - in this case, Guns N' Roses' Welcome to the Jungle.
The trailer also attempts to explain the reason behind Karen Gillan's much-maligned skimpy costume, with the punchline being that the character thinks it's ridiculous too - but some were still unimpressed.
Turns out "It's supposed to be a joke" was the big reason why Karen Gillan's #Jumanji character is dressed the way she is. Hmmm. https://t.co/KGU3N5x6H9
