The Moneyball actor - who has children Maddox, 11, Pax, nine, Zahara, eight, Shiloh, six, and four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne with partner Angelina Jolie - reportedly funded the purchase of the vessel after selling a share of his vineyardto winemaker Marc Perrin and can't wait to dock the boat at St. Tropez, which is close to his family estate in France.
A source said: "Brad is super-excited about his new purchase, and so are their children."
Brad and Angelina are expected to marry at their French home next month and the actor is said to be keen to incorporate his new purchase into the celebrations.
The source added to Grazia magazine: "He is now working out how he can incorporate a boat trip into their wedding celebrations, and Angelina fully approves.
