Pop-star and actress Jessica Simpson has been slammed after appearing drunk, dazed and notably confused during a guest appearance on the Home Shopping Network.
The 35-year-old stunned the Home Shopping Network viewers on Thursday night when she appeared on the channel seemingly intoxicated.
The singer/actress/designer was scheduled to make a live appearance to promote her new line of clothing and fashion accessories.
During one drunken slur, Simpson described the colour grey as 'sexy' when referring to a pair of jeans.
The star went on to ramble 'Ashlee is like the best at wearing grey... my sister.... Like, she's very rock 'n' roll, but there's something about a grey... that's like... sexy.
'Maybe it's her and her husband, they share jeans... I have no idea.... I dunno there's just something hot about them.'
After the presenter suggested women 'obsessed' over the grey jeans, Jessica said: 'Maybe men too, you never know.'
Viewers were quick to react via Twitter, as Simpson's comments ranged from cringe to comical to downright bizarre.
