Jennifer Lawrence refused to look like a "prepubescent 13-year-old boy" when she appeared naked in X-Men: First Class.
The 20-year-old actress - who plays shape-shifting mutant Mystique in the superhero prequel - appears naked apart from blue body paint in numerous scenes in the film and she was determined viewers
would see her with womanly curves.
She said: "I knew that if I was going to be naked in front of the world, I wanted to look like a woman and not a prepubescent 13-year-old boy. I'm so sick of people thinking that's what we're supposed to look like."
Jennifer is proud of her shapely figure and will eat whatever she likes, even though she knows it's a rare occurrence in Hollywood.
Speaking about her preparations for this year's Oscars - where she was up for the Best Actress award for her role in Winter's Bone - Jennifer said: "Around 15 minutes before, the guy doing my hair goes, 'If you can get a salad, get a salad.' I said, 'I'm getting a Philly cheesesteak.' I'm sure there's proof on a hotel bill somewhere."
Despite her new-found fame, Jennifer is still uncomfortable with being treated like a star.
She told America's Elle magazine: "When you're on set, everybody's like, 'Oh, do you need water? Here's 45 bottles!' It's really bizarre ... I'm still getting used to it. I'm still in wonderland."
