just four months ago, is believed to have discovered she was pregnant on December 10.

A snitch tells

magazine (yep, that reputable source of fabulous fables): "Jennifer was in total shock when she found out she was having another baby." What an uncanny reaction.

"She had wanted some space between the kids' ages.(But) she and David love kids. It's another thing for them to celebrate during the holidays," added the snitch.

Hudson recently spoke about how she'd like another addition to the brood with fiance

.

"I'd like to have at least one more, a little girl," she said in November.

"I want a girl and then maybe another one. You know, one baby at a time."

No word from Hudson's rep yet, so we'll take a rain check on the congratulations.

Hudson's rep has just issued a statement denying the pregnancy reports.

"Contrary to what has been falsely reported, Jennifer Hudson is not pregnant. Jennifer leaves in April for South Africa where she will portray Winnie Mandela in the feature film,

She added: "They're so lovable and the love they give is unconditional. They make me happy and it feels good to have them around. I make sure I take very good care of them all - they're like my children."
