Jay Z says his best album is Reasonable Doubt. Jay Z says his worst album is Kingdom Come. And Jay Z thinks both The Blueprint and The Black Album are "classics".
In a bold and unusual move, the hip-hop mogul ranked his own albums from best to worst target="_blank">on his website Life and Times in an apparent celebration of his 44th birthday, reported Time.
The rapper also included comments on each of his 12 studio releases, calling 2007's American Gangster "cohesive", calling The Blueprint 3 "good" and saying The Blueprint 2 had "too many songs".
Controversially, he ranked this year's dodgy Magna Carta Holy Grail at No. 6 with a list of the songs on the album he rates.
And he apologised for 2006's Kingdom Come, his comeback album after a supposed "retirement", saying, "First game back, don't shoot me".
