A mansion which Tom Cruise is thought to have bought with his then-wife Katie Holmes is on the market, more than three years after they divorced.
The six-bedroom home is located near East Grinstead, West Sussex, just a few miles from Saint Hill Manor, the UK headquarters of the Churchof Scientology, of which the actor, 53, is a keen follower.
The 14.2-acre estate is on the market for £4.95million (NZD$10million) - £2million more than Cruise paid for the property in 2006, according to US entertainment magazine Variety.
The master bedroom - which has an en-suite bathroom, a separate dressing room, walk-in wardrobe and a balcony - is also said to feature a two-person bathtub sitting on a black marble pedestal in the centre of the room.
The luxurious property also boasts a tennis court, heated outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, billiards room, cinema, dance studio, a gym and four reception rooms. Located just an hour and a half's drive from London, estate agents describe it as "most desirable" and "ideal for commuters" as a country retreat.
The sale may have been triggered by a desire to escape the higher stamp duty charges set to come into force next April for those buying a second home.
It has never been confirmed that the property belongs to Cruise, although it has been widely reported.
The Top Gun star and Miss Holmes, 37, who was his third wife, split in 2012 after six years together. The terms of their divorce settlement are not publicly available. They have a nine-year-old daughter, Suri, and last month it was claimed that Cruise had not seen her for two years.
The actor has offloaded a number of properties in recent years. He sold a mansion in the Hollywood Hills for £7.7million in October, while a flat in New York sold for £2million in 2013.
Cruise is now thought to be spending most of his time in Florida, to be closer to the Scientology headquarters in Clearwater.
